In order to make the most of the collage illustration project, I decided to design a pop-up book style collage for the short story 'Permanent Diversion' by Judy Thomas. It was a challenge to build the pop-up function, as well as this I wanted the collage to interact with light so that at the correct angle a silhouette of the warrior from the story could be seen, I felt it was the best way to capture the suprising nature of the story.
